The Secondary Stage under NEP 2020 covers Classes IX to XII and is designed for learners between the ages of 14 and 18. This stage provides greater depth of learning along with opportunities for multidisciplinary study, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving and independent learning.
Our academic approach encourages students to explore their interests and abilities while developing strong conceptual understanding and essential life skills. Learning extends beyond textbooks through projects, practical activities, discussions, research, technology and real-world experiences.
In alignment with NEP 2020, we aim to move beyond rote memorisation and encourage students to understand concepts, apply knowledge, analyse information and develop solutions to real-world problems. Students are supported in becoming confident and responsible learners prepared for higher education, careers and lifelong learning.
We support students in their academic and personal development through:
NEP 2020 encourages students to experience a broader range of learning opportunities. Our approach promotes connections between different subjects and encourages students to explore areas according to their interests and aspirations.
We provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to take responsibility for their learning and prepare for future academic and career opportunities.
Along with academic learning, students are encouraged to develop the skills required for higher education, future careers and responsible participation in society.
Assessment is designed to support learning and provide meaningful feedback on students' progress. Along with academic achievement, appropriate emphasis is placed on understanding, application, skills, projects, practical work and overall development.
The Secondary Stage helps students identify their interests, strengths and aspirations. Through academic guidance, exposure to different disciplines and career awareness, students are encouraged to make informed decisions about their future education and career pathways.
We follow a learner-centred approach that combines academic depth with flexibility, practical learning and holistic development. Our teachers guide students to think independently, explore their interests, solve problems creatively and develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in higher education, careers and life.
